Send a sprocket, sheave or bushing request

Include chain size, tooth count, bore, keyway, shaft speed and the shutdown window. The more complete the first note is, the faster the review can move.

Useful details to include

A complete note does not need polished engineering language. It needs the measurements and operating facts that decide whether the request should become a finished bore sprocket, split replacement, taper-lock sheave, bushing set or conveyor chain review. Photos are welcome when they include scale, but typed dimensions are easier to quote from.

  • Chain pitch, strand count and tooth count.
  • Bore diameter, keyway size and hub style.
  • RPM, load behavior and starts per hour.
  • Dust, washdown, heat or corrosion exposure.
  • Required shipment window and documentation.

If the machine is already down, say so in the first line. If the work is planned, include the outage date and whether a distributor should handle the commercial order. That context lets the support path separate urgent finishing questions from ordinary catalog confirmation.

For urgent work, attach the clearest available shaft measurement and note whether the old part can be removed for inspection. For planned work, include the machine type, expected annual hours, lubricant practice and any recurring failure pattern. Those details help the response stay practical: confirm a stocked family, suggest a bore finishing route, flag a split replacement option or request the missing data before anyone prices the wrong component.
